The most fun you can have on two feet

At the Minute

Elizabeth MacDonald teaches Monday evening class

Easter Weekend! Pat Murphy! Ceilis and workshops! Music! Lunch! Need we say more? Check here for more details. Be sure to let us know if you are staying for lunch on Saturday.

Sundays at the Old Triangle go on no matter what: rain, hurricanes, sun, snow, Blue Nose Marathon, staff parties, Tattoo, sleet, fog, Tom Selleck, hail, wind . . . .

Because of her frustration with the daily spamming of our guestbook, the Web Spinster has changed its settings. You will now have to register with the website before you can leave comments in the guestbook. Spammers, apparently, couldn't be bothered, so we have been mercifully spam-free since the change was made. Since we are responsible for all content on the site, included that added by others, the change was necessary. Contact the Web Spinster if you have any questions.

The Winter session of the Monday evening set dance classes began on January 11. Come join us in the dance studio at the Chocolate Lake Centre. Almost weekly step dance classes began on January 9 and continue every second week.

Smile! You're on Facebook! Well, Scaip na Cleiti is. Join our group here.

We had a wonderful time at the 2009 Irish Arts Weekend in Prince Edward Island during the Victoria Day weekend. Further details here.

More updates to the News & Photos page! The issue of Set Dancing News with the 2008 PEI article is now available online. You'll also find articles by Helen Conboy and Bert & Annie Moran, and Bill Lynch's own article about PEI.

Congratulations to Kevin Roach, our own fiddler, who was nominated for a 2007 East Coast Music Award for his CD, The Downpour.

Please send the Web Spinster your photos from set dancing events.
